At Minky Couture, we believe in spreading comfort and warmth, especially in times of need. That's why we're proud to announce our partnership with the American Red Cross to support disaster relief efforts for those affected by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. To help make a difference, we are donating 6,000 of our plush blankets and matching up to $50,000 in donations made through the Red Cross.
Comfort in Times of Crisis
Hurricane Helene has left many in the southeastern United States facing unimaginable challenges. Families have lost homes and are struggling to recover. Our blankets, designed for warmth and comfort, will help provide a little relief to those enduring such hardship. Michael Smauldon, Executive Director of the American Red Cross Northern Utah & Southwest Wyoming Chapter, expressed the importance of this contribution: “The plush Minky Couture blankets will provide warmth and comfort to people recovering from the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene."
Our Commitment to Giving Back

The Red Cross’s Relief Efforts
As the Red Cross continues to provide essential aid in the wake of Hurricane Helene, they are actively working across the southeastern U.S., including the Carolinas, Georgia, and Tennessee. The Red Cross has deployed 20 trained disaster relief volunteers from Utah to help these communities recover and rebuild, and our donation is just one way we are helping extend their reach.
